Renaissance Charter School at Poinciana was officially approved for Florida’s 21 Century Grant

The 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Grant Program’s focus is to provide expanded academic enrichment opportunities for children attending selected schools and their families. Tutorial services and academic enrichment activities are designed to help students meet local and state academic standards in subjects such as reading and math.

In addition, 21st CCLC programs provide youth development activities, behavior intervention programs, technology education programs, art, music, recreation programs, and character education to enhance the academic components of the program. We also, provide breakfast and lunch at no cost.  Students should wear school uniform and bus services will not be provided.

We are currently accepting applications for our 21st Century Community Learning Center summer program. The summer program operates 24 days at four days per week. The program takes place Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Sessions are from   8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program comes at no cost to our students and parents. Our summer program, also comes with two field trip opportunities to the Orlando Science Center and The Kennedy Space Center.
